Privacy Policy
Effective September 29, 2026
UsePDFQuick is built so that your documents never have to leave your computer. This page explains exactly what that means, and lists the small handful of things this site does store, so there are no surprises.
We do not upload, store, or view your documents
Every tool on UsePDFQuick — merging, compressing, splitting, converting — runs entirely inside your browser using WebAssembly (WASM), a technology that lets full-speed document processing code run locally on your device instead of on a remote server. When you select a file, it is read directly into your browser's memory and processed there by WASM modules running on your own CPU; it is never sent to our servers or to any server we control. UsePDFQuick has no upload endpoint for documents, no backend that receives file contents, no database of user files, and no way to see the contents of anything you process here, because that data is never transmitted to us in the first place. When a tool finishes, the result is handed back to you as a local download; nothing is retained afterward, by us or by your browser, once you close or reload the page.
What this site does store
UsePDFQuick does not use cookies, and we do not currently run any analytics or tracking scripts. The one thing this site saves is a single, non-identifying preference in your browser's local storage: whether you've chosen light or dark mode. That preference stays on your device, is never sent to us, and contains no personal information.
Third-party requests
The PDF to JPG tool uses a third-party library (pdf.js) to render pages, and loading it can fetch a small number of generic library files — a worker script, font data, and image decoders — from a public package CDN (unpkg.com). These requests carry no part of your document; they only fetch the same, generic rendering code every user downloads. Every other tool on this site makes no third-party requests at all while processing your file. Fonts on this site are bundled with the app rather than loaded from a third party.
Changes to this policy
If we ever change how UsePDFQuick handles data — for example, by adding accounts, analytics, or server-side processing for a new feature — we will update this page and change the effective date above.
